How to Make a Low-Calorie Cascade Ice Ranch Water

by Cascade Ice on April 1, 2022

The Ranch Water cocktail is having a moment – everywhere you look, restaurants, bars and even supermarkets are advertising their version of the famous beverage. Why is it so popular? It’s light, refreshing, and easy to make, and perfect for the upcoming warmer Spring and Summer days.

The origins of the Ranch Water cocktail are fuzzy, but it definitely came from the Lone Star State (Texas) and has spread across the country. The main things you’ll find in common no matter where you get it are typically tequila, lime juice and sparkling (or mineral) water. But most agree that the bubblier the sparkling water, the more the flavors “pop”, which is why using Cascade Ice Sparkling Water with zero calories and sugar and lots of bubbles is key!

Sticking to your health and fitness goals and don’t want to slam down extra calories and sugar in liquid form? We’ve got you covered! Our recipe for Ranch Water will give you the same great taste without all the added extras. Read below to make your own Cascade Ice Ranch Water!

Ingredients

1 cup of ice

1 Tbsp. lime juice

2 oz. tequila of your choice

5 oz. Cascade Ice USDA Organic Sparkling Water in Lemon Lime

Fresh lime slices

Dream of Sunny Days with our Skinny Sparkling Blueberry Watermelon Mojito

by Cascade Ice on January 28, 2022

We’re in the thick of winter weather, which can be dark and gloomy. If you need something that will give you a little pick-me-up while you daydream about warmer temperatures and sunny skies, this cocktail is it! And like all our drink recipes, it’s low sugar and can be made as a mocktail if you want to omit the alcohol.

Most everyone has tried the classic mojito made with rum, mint, and lime. But this recipe takes a spin on the old school version by switching out the lime flavors with the tartness of blueberries and the sweet juiciness of watermelon! You can even make ahead of time and double the batch if you’re hosting a happy hour or party.

Check out our recipe below!

Skinny Sparkling Blueberry Watermelon Mojito

Add stevia (or sugar), water and blueberries together in a saucepan over high heat. Once boiling, reduce temperature and let cook for 8 minutes. Muddle blueberries until they’re completely mashed. Allow them to cool.

Grab your favorite glass, add mint leaves and rum with ice, along with 2 oz. of the blueberry mixture. Top with Cascade Ice, and add watermelon garnish, if desired. Cheers!
