All the Flavor Without the Worry!

by Cascade Ice on October 5, 2017

Every 21 seconds someone is diagnosed with diabetes. The month of November is National Diabetes Month and Cascade Ice is committed to providing a flavorful, healthy drink option for those with dietary restrictions.

Cascade Ice is sweetened with sucralose, an FDA-approved alternative to sugar. Cascade Ice is also sodium, gluten and caffeine free, making it a great substitution for soda. With over 20 great tasting varieties, there’s a Cascade Ice for everyone!

With diabetes awareness in mind, we have mixed up two drink recipes for you to enjoy.

This Pomegranate Punch is a great alternative to traditional sugar packed punch. Simply pour 4 parts Cascade Ice Pomegranate Berry over ice. Then, mix mint leaves, lime juice and some pomegranate seeds together and you’re ready to serve!

Give your water a fun, fruity enhancement with these Grapefruit ice cubes. First, cut a grapefruit into slices small enough to fit in the cubes of your ice tray. Next, place one or two slices in the bottom of each cube, and pour Cascade Ice Organic Grapefruit over. Place the tray in the freezer for 12 to 24 hours. Remember, the bigger the cube, the longer it will take to properly freeze. Once frozen, drop a few cubes in a glass of water and enjoy the refreshing grapefruit flavor!
