Spring into Strawberry Watermelon Series: Part One
by Cascade Ice on March 8, 2018
We’re counting down to spring with a series of blogs celebrating our newest flavor, Cascade Ice Strawberry Watermelon. We’ll highlight a few fun drink recipes you can make at home each day with this refreshing flavor. Enjoy!
Strawberry Watermelon Slush
To prep the slush, fill an ice tray with small cubes of watermelon and water and freeze for a few hours. Once frozen, add the watermelon ice cubes into a blender and pour in 4 ounces of Cascade Ice Strawberry Watermelon. For a fun twist add a splash of white wine to the mixture. Blend until it reaches a slushy consistency
Popsicles
Simply add a few strawberry slices to a popsicle mold and fill the remaining space with Cascade Ice Strawberry Watermelon. Freeze overnight and you’ll have delicious fruit popsicles for the morning!
Strawberry Watermelon Mojito
Begin by adding ice, a few mint leaves, 2 ounces of rum and a splash of lime juice into a shaker. Shake well and serve over ice in your preferred glass. Top off each glass with 2 ounces of Cascade Ice Strawberry Watermelon and stir. Garnish with extra mint leaves and a cube of watermelon.
We’ll be giving away free cases of Cascade Ice Strawberry Watermelon each day on social media so make sure to follow us on on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram to win!
