The Perfect Memorial Day Refresher

Memorial Day weekend is upon us, and the crowds are getting ready to celebrate the memory of so many loved ones who were lost while serving our country. Many of you will attend parades, others will have parties and some will choose to stay at home. No matter how you celebrate Memorial Day, Cascade Ice is here to keep you refreshed.

We have put together a delightful recipe in dedication to this national holiday, and we hope you will enjoy it with your families and loved ones!

Stars and Stripes

Start by freezing ice cubes infused with red and/ or blue food coloring in an ice tray (make this even more fun by using ice trays with fun molds!). Once your ice cubes are ready, fill your glass half full with them. Then add an ounce of strawberry syrup or strawberry liqueur. In a separate glass or shaker, combine 3 oz. Cascade Ice Coconut with 2 oz. strawberry flavored vodka, and then add it to your ice-filled glass. Lastly, add an ounce of blue curacao and garnish with a strawberry.
