Getting Energized with Healthy Yogi Karla Tafra

by Cascade Ice on October 17, 2019

Wake up. Coffee. Crash. Repeat.

To get a jump on the day, millions of people reach for caffeine in the form of coffee. But coffee can often lead to an energy crash because of all the “extras” we add, such as sugar, sweetened creamers and flavored syrups. Not only does it cause a slump, but all the additions to your coffee can pack on the calories as well.

Our friend (and popular yoga and healthy lifestyle influencer) Karla Tafra recently shared her thoughts on staying hydrated while also maintaining energy in the healthiest way possible. Instead of coffee, she reaches for new Cascade Ice USDA Organic Caffeinated Waters to keep her energized and hydrated.

Karla said, “With only 3 ingredients, carbonated water, natural organic flavors and organic caffeine, this little can is filled with all the goodness. And don’t let me get started on the flavors. From Citrus Twist and Black Raspberry to Grapefruit and Pomegranate Mango, everyone can find their favorite (or two).”

What Makes Sparkling Water so Fizzy?

by Cascade Ice on October 14, 2019

“Sparkling Water.” We’ve heard the name so many times, especially now that sparkling waters are rising in popularity, and often considered a great alternative to sugary soda. But what exactly gives sparkling water those bubbles that tickle your tongue?

Sparkling water, also known as carbonated water, is water that has been infused with carbon dioxide gas under pressure during the manufacturing process. Carbon dioxide on its own does not contain color or flavor, it just adds that bubbly fun sensation we crave to quench our thirst.

Interestingly, a carbonated drink may even enhance digestion by improving swallowing ability and reducing constipation.

For best results, drink your Cascade Ice cold and keep the bottle (or can) sealed tight until you’re ready to drink it, the bubblier your drink will be!

Cascade Ice Waters are healthier hydration options that provide fewer calories than soda, so it’s no wonder that more people are reaching for the latest flavors to satisfy their carbonated drink cravings.

Hosting a BBQ with Jenn from HelloRigby

by Cascade Ice on October 3, 2019

Our friend Jenn from HelloRigby is no stranger to hosting a great party! And what better way to enjoy what could quite possibly be the last weekend of warmer weather than to host a backyard BBQ?

Of course, any get-together isn’t complete without the right beverages to keep you cool. Jenn served up Cascade Ice USDA Organic Caffeinated Waters (her favorite flavor is Pomegranate Mango) alongside her favorite plant-based burgers with all the fixings. At zero calories, they boast 3 simple ingredients – carbonated water, natural organic flavor, and organic caffeine. She says they give her just the right amount of energy to play hostess and enjoy mingling with her guests.

P.S. Isn’t her dog, Rigby (who her blog is named after), just the cutest?
